$1/lb U-Pick 'till it's EMPTY!

We've gone a week past last years end of season, so we're ready to be done!  There are still some berries on the bushes, but they are getting to be fewer, smaller, and some are overripe. If you'd like to come and get what you can of what's left we're offering our first End of Season Sale! We have containers and bags you can pick in, but feel free to bring your own buckets, or bowls, or whatever,  if you'd like.

In order for you to get a feel for how many berries are left I've created a "Berry Map" which I will do my best to keep up to date with the general state of the berries, here's what the different labels mean:

The few spots marked "Heavy" still have large clumps of good sized berries.  These were gone by 4th of July last year, but the mild weather has keep them growing longer this summer. The first out to U-Pick will have first run on these; it won't take long for them to disappear.

Some areas have lots and lots of tiny berries.  These would be really good in pancakes or muffins! 

Many areas are mostly picked over, but there are some clumps of good sized berries hiding here and there. If you're willing to look for them, you could fill a few buckets with some quality berries.

A surprising number of bushes still have lots of pink, unripe berries on them.  In time, they may still ripen and I'll update their status.

Once there gone, they're gone and it's time for the plants to focus on growing new shoots for next season!
